Walton Chaintech has now stealthy added a new product to its Apogee GT memory line-up. Featuring the Blazer brand, Chaintech's release is a 4GB DDR3 memory kit which consists of two 2GB modules rated to work at 1800 MHz with 8-8-8-24 latencies powered at 1.8 Volts, which, although lower than other, similar offers, it is still higher than the 1.5V JEDEC has approved for DDR3.
Equipped with Cool It Smart heatsinks, the new, low voltage memory modules make use of 128Mx8 DRAMs from Samsung and feature EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles) 2.0 support. The new DDR3-1800 kit is expected to hit the stores next month.
